About Robbie Green

Robbie Green has been taking photographs professionally since 2004. He is particularly interested in nature, and is inspired by the variety of textures, and flora and fauna, found in Sydney, Australia and the mid-north coast of New South Wales.  He was the recipient of the Individual Achievement Award at the Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) Annual Creative Futures NSW Recognition Awards  in 2007.

Robbie's first solo exhibition was Green@Red - Robbie Green at Gallery Red (2010), and his other exhibitions include Artists with Autism (2011), 'Four' and 'Five' at Gallery Red (2011, 2012), the Aspect Annual Art Exhibition (2007 - 2012), the Shutter Speed Annual Photography Exhibition at Gallery Red as part of the Head on Photo Festival (2013), and 'We Are Now Five' at Gallery Red (2013).

Robbie's commissions include 35 presentation photographs for conference speakers at the Inaugural Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC) (2009) - where Robbie appeared in front of 1500 delegates at the conference - and presentation photographs and greeting card packs for Autism in Education conference speakers (2018).

Robbie's artistic philosophy is strongly against digital enhancement of images. All Robbie's images reflect nature as he found it. Some cropping has been used to fit greeting cards to a 15 x 15 cm square card.
